Introducing: The Worlds smallest self powered HDMI cable extender / booster amplifier. (Please see image above) So you need to create a long HDMI cable run? If you already own a couple of 10 or 15 Metre HDMI cables, you may wish to join them together rather than buy a new 20 or 30M cable paying anything upwards of $150-$200. The HDMI Booster Repeater is connected at the end of a HDMI cable or used to chain two cables together and create a longer HDMI extension.

This 1080p HDMI booster can be used to boost the signal from the following devices:

It works by regenerating the high definition video and digital audio it receives from the the source and transmits it along to the second cable at the extended display.

This method of extension offers flexibility in customizing your extension length as any two cable lengths can be used. The HDMI Repeater is highly effective to distances up to 100 feet. This powered HDMI booster will work with both HDMI-HDMI and DVI-HDMI cables.

If an AC receptical is not available you can use this HDMI booster w/o the AC adapter letting it be powered by the HDMI cables +5V but it will only work when all interfaces are HDMI only. No DVI to HDMI cables or adapters can be in the series chain.

It's equipped with HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) connectors and passes through HDCP (high bandwidth digital content protection) compliant video. HDCP is a standard encoded into the signal to prevent it from being pirated. Sources, displays and any repeater device in between must be able to pass HDCP in order to work properly.

How the HDMI Booster Repeater works :
One HDMI Cable connects your high definition Audio ~ Video source to the HDMI Repeater. Another cable connects the HDMI Repeater output to your extended display.
